Bio
Disrupting healthcare 140 characters at a time.

In lieu of a listing litany of skills, let’s talk outliers. I can assimilate, distill, and formulate a cogent response to vast data sources, in real-time, translating between technology and business vocabularies seamlessly. A non-linear thinker, I see hidden connections that inform unique solution proposals to healthcare’s greatest challenges. Through my work with industry leaders, from executives and policy-makers to advocacy and activist groups, I am helping to shape the future of healthcare innovation and transformation.

Always entrepreneurial, a spirit which drives intrapreneurial ventures in my large enterprise employment, I have recently taken my passion for person-centered healthcare transformation and created a company focused on addressing the industry’s “one size fits all” problem. Social and complex needs matter – and while they are becoming increasingly recognized as the most important factors in health and healthcare, they have not yet been brought to the forefront of system design. That’s what Aloha Health is doing: making life actionable, by surfacing the clinical and communications relevance of this health context, and helping organizations and clinicians develop care and engagement programs accordingly.

Recent recognition includes:

- 2016 Honoree, Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT, Health Data Management Magazine
- 2015 Rock Health "State of Women in Healthcare" Report inclusion as "Role Model/Mentor"
- 2015 Top 50 Health IT and Digital Health Influencers by Healthcare IT Leaders
- 2015 Stanford MedX/Symplur Social Media's Healthcare Transformation Challenge Finalist

As I’ve ended up in places I never expected, and continue to evolve and grow, I encourage each of you to do the same: trust in serendipity, pursue your passions, know your current path doesn’t have to be forever.
